Required ordering info
The fit of high prescription lenses is customised to you, and where your eyes sit in the frames. To create them, you need to provide us with your prescription and other measurements that you can only get when you're wearing the glasses frame that you are ordering the lenses for, and a professional has checked that they fit properly;
- Monocular centration distance or ‘duel pupillary distance’
- Monocular pupil heights
- Pantoscopic tilt
- Back vertex distances
What you need to do:
- Buy your new Minus frames first, and take them to your eye test, after which ask your optician for support getting the above fitting checks and measurements.
- If you don't need a full eye exam and your prescription is up-to-date, pop back into your optician and ask them for the fitting checks and measurements - it's likely they will help you out without any fuss. Or they may charge a small fee.
- Come back to us, and order your lenses. We'll then be in touch over email to get copies of your measurements and prescription, and details of how to post your frames to us.
For these reasons, we'll always fit the exact frames you send back to us that may have been tweaked already at your fitting.
Prescriptions need to be no more than 2 years old. And you need to be over 18 to order lenses online.
